Terms of service
We refer plumbing work rather than perform it, and that distinction shapes everything below. It is set out plainly so nothing on it comes as a surprise later.

These terms govern your use of this website and of the plumbing referral and dispatch service operated by Westminster CA Plumbing. Using either one means you accept them.
1. What this service is
Westminster CA Plumbing is a referral and dispatch service. We connect homeowners, landlords, tenants, property managers and business operators with independent local plumbing professionals. We do not perform plumbing work ourselves, we do not employ the plumbers who attend, and we are not a party to the repair contract you enter with them.
2. Your agreement is with the contractor
Once we connect you, the scope of work, the price, the schedule, any warranty, and the terms of payment are agreed directly between you and the plumbing professional. Their licence, bond and insurance are their own. We recommend you confirm the licence number and get the scope and price in writing before work starts, particularly on main lines, buried infrastructure and anything requiring a permit.
3. Estimates, pricing and payment
Any figure quoted on a call is indicative until a plumber has seen the problem. Nothing on this website is a price quotation or an offer to contract at a stated price. Payment is made to the contractor, not to us, and disputes about the amount charged are between you and them.
4. Emergency dispatch and arrival times
The line is answered around the clock and emergencies are dispatched on the call. Arrival estimates are honest ranges, not guarantees. Traffic, weather, simultaneous emergencies, gated access and the availability of a suitably skilled plumber all affect timing, and we would rather give you a realistic window than a comfortable one.
5. Shut-off guidance
If water is escaping, we will talk you through locating and closing a shut-off valve while dispatch is under way. That guidance is general safety information given over the phone by someone who cannot see your property. You remain responsible for your own safety. Do not enter standing water to reach an electrical panel, and do not attempt work you are not confident with.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about the problem, the address and the property.
- Have authority to arrange work at that address, or the owner or manager consent to it.
- Provide safe and lawful access for the plumber who attends.
- Disclose known hazards, such as asbestos, unpermitted alterations or unsafe electrics.
- Use this site lawfully, and not to scrape, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it.
7. Site content and its limits
The diagnostic and district information on this site is written to be genuinely useful, and it is general information rather than professional advice for your property. Building materials, code requirements and site conditions vary. Nothing here replaces an inspection by a licensed plumber, and you should not act on it in place of one.
8. Disclaimers
This website and the referral service are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not warrant the workmanship, materials, conduct, punctuality, pricing or licensing status of any contractor we refer, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Westminster CA Plumbing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from your use of this site or of the referral service, including property damage, business interruption or lost profits caused by work performed by a referred contractor. Our total liability for any claim relating to the referral service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us for that referral. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Westminster CA Plumbing against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, from inaccurate information you gave us, or from arranging work at a property where you did not have authority to do so.
11. Intellectual property
The text, layout, photographs and code on this site belong to Westminster CA Plumbing or its licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. Republishing the content, in whole or in substantial part, or reusing it to train or populate another service, requires written permission.
12. Third-party links and services
Where we link to a third party, such as a utility, a municipal permitting page or a manufacturer, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or practices. Web fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, as described in the privacy policy.
13. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California, and both parties consent to that venue.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version always sits on this page with its date at the top, and continuing to use the site or the dispatch line after a change means you accept the revised version.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Together with the privacy policy, these terms are the whole of the agreement between you and us regarding this site and the referral service.
